Anodes are completed with commercially produced bars 330mm, 375mm and 412mm wide up to the maximum anode width of 2246mm. Standard tolerance on the width of anode depends on the number of bars.

The protection of top mounted anodes against air oxidation is ensured by impregnation of a current-conducting part of the anode with metaphosphate melts and other compounds.

Anodes can be supplied in a set consisting of bars or being glued.
